I have aa 1969 beetle and would like to know what the 2 knobs on the dash that have arrows on them are for. They do not do anything to my knowledge when i turn them in either way.

Are the arrows blue and in a circle?? If so, they are vent switches - they just open your interior vents to bring in fresh air!
