Buying 1966 Volkswagen Convertible

I have the opportunity to buy a 1966 Volkswagen convertible that is in very good condition. The buyer is asking $2500. Is this a reasonable price?

The biggest issues with these cars is rust. Check the floor pans and see if they are starting to rust, depending on the mileage that could be a good deal. Parts for those a cheap and they are super easy to work on. I am located near a parts supplier that has parts for those in stock all the time. Good condition looking at it from up top, but get under the car and look at the floors! Otherwise you should be getting a pretty good deal on it. Feel free to message me w/ any other questions.

price is ok yeah check rear arches for rust and check rear of the roof for rust too

2500 for a 66 is a damn good price! Either he doesn't know how valuable they really are, or he's selling you a lemon. I'd check it over first.
