Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hi,
I need to know if someone can help me here for a beetle car color.
I need to know about a paint supplier about this automobile color.

L352 Cognac Metalic, I'm having a very hard time tracking it down.
On the internet I found written like this, L352 Cognac Metalic on the light bronze metalic beetle, I don't know if it'll help.

I hope you can help........

L352 cognac was a karmann ghia color used in 1957-1959. was never standard on the beetle. with that said, glasurit was the company that made the colors for vw back in the day. they have no listings on the paint codes for cognac anymore. your best bet, if this is the color you want, is to take a body panel that has decent paint on it down to a good paint store. they can scan the panel and mix paint to match. if you need some ideas what colors actually came originally on the car, check out the tech section on thesamba.com. they have a pretty good collection of paint with pictures and most codes listed.
