Why does my 87 Jeep start run until you get out on the road, then dies and will not restart?

Asked by Apr 03, 2017 at 01:49 PM about the 1987 Jeep Comanche

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Towed four times to mechanic who swears they have checked everything.  They tried changing a sensor near the transmission.  I know that because they thought it had been damaged by someone who was trying to repair the transmission. That sensor turned out to be faulty, a code showed up.  Replaced and still have the same problem
