Jeep Key

Asked by GuruH5NM Apr 19, 2017 at 05:35 PM about the 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My key fob was run over and the case totally broke.
Can I order just a fob case and put the key in there.
I don't care about the circuit board. Thanks.

Probably not. The key is missing the portion that the vehicles security system identifies with. You will need to have a new key made and programmed to your vehicles security system. This is a proprietary item to Chrysler products. Only your dealer can help you with this issue.
