Can I run 07 Jeep GC if I remove the front wheel drive shaft.

Asked by Guru8DLY6 Dec 23, 2019 at 10:33 PM about the 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The bearing went out on front drive so I
took off the shaft off the transfer case
but Jeep won't go into drive or reverse

This is probably because you have AWD. The center differential is sending all the power to the front.

Ok so I'll probably have to reinstall a new shaft in order to run again?
