Headlights?

Asked by Phillip May 15, 2011 at 05:34 PM about the 2007 Toyota Corolla

Question type: Car Customization

I want to change to the blue HID headlights on my blue 2007 Corolla. Do I need to do anything special with the wiring or can I just change the bulbs?

you need bulbs, headlight assemblies (the reflective portion as well as the lens composition is different for HID), and ballasts. IMHO its less headache and hundreds of dollars cheaper to keep the halogens.

not so,you can change the bulbs without all that other junk that know it all posted,he is a poser.

Explain to everyone here how you can use HID lights without a ballast? Explain how you can aim the diffused light that an HID produces using a halogen lens? And further more explain how that halogen lens will not melt/catch fire from the additional heat produced. Please Please Please explain.
