I have a 1984 Dodge Ram Van Mini. 2.6l engine. Can not get any gas to the engine. Replaced fuel regulator in tank but did not help. HELP!!
I can start it no problem with carb started fluid. Just won't stay running.
Anyone out there with any clues??
The fuel pump is bad, should have replaced the fuel pump while you were in there. Or the fuel pump is not running because of no power. Check ground wires.
I can hear the pump running when I try to start it.
Then you should check the fuel pressure to see if it is in proper pressure range.
How do you do do that? The fuel regulator dial is on 5.
You need a fuel pressure gauge hooked in the fuel line. Check out you tube.
