How do I disconnect the Steering gear and Steering shaft coupling

I need a diagram showing how to disconnect the Steering gear and Steering shaft coupling and move them out of the way so I can change the starter on a 1987 dodge dakota v6 4x4

There's usually a pin or set screw holding the U joint to the shaft.
