I have a 1986 charger shelby 2.2 turbo w/ a 5 speed. will the 84 daytona non-turbo 5 speed transmission bolt up and work?

It may or may not . First you need to check the number of splines on the imput shaft and the axles. The real difference is that the gear ratios are different. The Shelby trans is aHD unit and close ratio gears.
