hi loopster, The only way you would be able to tell is by decoding the vin number(vehicle identification number.) The VIN is located in numerous places all around your car such as the front of the dash, the engine, and the drivers door panel. You can go to the following website after you get your 13 digit vin number to decode and it will tell you everything you need to know about your vehicle. http://www.angelfire.com/oh3/1970challenger/ Good luck.

Hi Loopster, Quit and easy way is to look at your vin number. If it starts with a JH, it is a regular Challenger. If it starts with a JS, it is an RT model. Moparfan4404
