my mercedes do not want start, battery is ok

...yes well the ground connection is NOT....disassemble the 1/0 black cable off the battery....the lug end and wirebrush it with a coarse wirebrush....here and the place that it bolts to (chassis/ground)....look for the 1/0 cable going to the engine block usually located near the alternator~

Batteries are made from tin/antimony alloy....NOT lead, so will only last you ....degrades ten percent per year...so as to say that stops taking a charge ten percent per year~ five years is about all that you can expect before trouble with the alternator~
