TFI module is the likely culprit....https://lmr.com/Product/Search?vehicle=1979-93- Mustang&q=tfi

Where's that located this is my first Foxbody so I'm leading I just don't understand it cause the car runs good when it starts but as soon as I cut it off it won't start for awhile

Attached to the distributor. You need a special screwdriver or bit to remove. Use the link to see what the module looks like, and make sure you get the right one, the manual trans is different from the automatic. A failing TFI will be a no start or stalling issue when the car gets warm, and won't start until it cools down.
