the blinkers and flashers work when they want to and one of the headlights plays the same tune........the car sat a year or two......so i'm guessing its the grounding......thanks a lot....

follow the end of the black battery cable...this will stop at a point that is VERY important....the chassis ground which sees a flaming 300 amps to start the engine...and gets all compromised from exchanging dis-similar metals there at that point~

why they cannot make this connection point out of the SAME material remains to be seen~another thing is those bastards (...er um automotive Designers) stick this 300 or more amp connection in the same exact spot as the brain needs to see unwavering voltages and amperages....That there is creating a semi-conductor with every start...a kind of self-fulfilling prophecy of failure~....word~

the Germans...BMW and Mercedes run TWO 1/0 cables (tho that's an American Wire Gauge designation) few strand 20mm cables TWO of them...one for the starter and one for the delicates~

we of course neeed TWO, one for the chassis, and one to the engine block, so is in effect the SAME...but alas, NOT the same as we do not introduce a dodgy semi-conductor connection...to keep the sensitive systems unhappy, frequently launching a CEL for sensors out of range....because the supply voltage to the brain is out of range....because there is a corroded MAIN ground to a hopefully NEWer than five years old battery~

good luck....armed with this electro-chemistry lesson here~ me pops is THE dude at Interstate battery 35 years in the automotive battery field...actually developed the tin/antimony battery which is used instead of LEAD...doesn't accept a charge ten percent per year, but everyone uses them now~

drmaharaj57@gmail.com Trouble shooting C200 w202 series on start up the rev counter not working comes on and off and the digital reqdings come on qnd off the air on fan comes on with the AIRCON off fitted a new battery but still same issues was advised by technician to check grounding point and the solonoid on the aircon condenser please advise way forward Thank you
