If the car was in a front end collision and not repaired properly (to factory spec at a licensed repair shop) I would think it could be any number of problems including a faulty ground, or damaged components (especially electrical) being a fellow Mercedes owner (I bought a 2012 E350 4Matic AMG Brand new in 2012) and being a pretty knowledgable back yard mechanic, I won't do work on my Benz. She goes to the dealer for everything, for two reasons (One I will not inadvertently void the warranty which the shop manager warned me of regarding oil changes and whatnot, these cars are SO sophisticated in regards to diagnotics and recording data , and Two german craftsmanship is so highly regarded that I simply do not feel qualified to work on her myself). I would say if the light doesn't affect your vehicles performance, take her to the shop when you have the money, but the main lesson is don't buy a wrecked or salvaged luxury car, they simply are a money pit and too many systems can break or will already be broken when you purchase it. Best of luck!

Can be hooked up to a diagnostics computer, could be a number of things the most common one being an ABS sensor on one of the wheels, best source for information is YouTube, don't panic ABS sensor eBay under 20 usd
