My drivers seat is stuck in the lock position

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The drivers seat on my 98 cabrio is stuck in the lock position. The lever on the side is ineffective at releasing the
cable closest to the middle of the car... Is there a way to fix the latch that is supposed to release the seat so that it
will tilt forward to allow access to the back seat?

you'll need to take the seat off and remove the upholstery to repair the cable, you can look to see if you can access the lock by hand they are located in the bottom of the backrest, they should have a plastic cover that covers them.
