2000 VW passat v6. Tried to start
car but it wouldnt only thing that
happened was my hazard lights
flashing. Why is this?

YOU COULD HAVE A BAD BATTERY OR BAD STARTER , HAVE YOU CHECKED TO SEE IF YOU HAVE 12 VOLTS AT THE BATTERY, DID YOU TRY TO JUMP START THE CAR ?
