My boyfriend has a 2000 VW jetta
My boyfriend has a VW Jetta 2000 today he
went to PA and he said the transmission
slipped and that he wants to know how to fix
it and his clutch is another problem and if he
can't fix this can he return it where he got it
and get his other car back since it's already
No you can't get another car, you buy a car as is. As far as the tranny. it will need to be looked at, have him bring it to a good transmission shop..
He lives in Delaware I'm tired of having to deal with this already can he just go drop it off where he got it and just get his money back and go on Craigslist because obviously they are better then the place he went to get the stupid car
Your not understanding the answer. Buying a used car is usually As-Is, that means it's yours, no warranty, you fix it. If he bought the car from a used car lot, they might try to fix it, but don't bet on it. His old car is probably sold already. If not, they will buy the Jetta back for close to nothing, and then sell him his old car for more than he traded it in. Best bet is to sell the Jetta or fix it. When he's looking for a newer vehicle, have a mechanic look it over before purchase so he doesn't get burned again.
