Battery Installation for a 2003 GTI 1.8 Turbo Anniversary Edition

Asked by DQUINN76 Jul 30, 2011 at 11:10 PM about the 2003 Volkswagen Golf GTI

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Just installed a new battery in my 2003 20th Anniversary edition GTI. The car is still "dead".. no lights, nothing. We tested the battery and it's fully charged. Any suggestions?

your car is in default mode.try turning your keyswitch on-off 3 times, dont try to crank, just key on key off,if that dont work look in glove box or fuse box for a reset button.
