Why won't my convertible top work automatically?

The fuse is not blown, I have already checked and I don't believe the motor is broken. I
can still put the top down manually, but it would be really convenient if my automatic top
would do it's job haha.

Best thing to do is have the convertible top scanned for fault codes. You need to see the dealer or a VW specialty shop. Sometimes the lock handle or a micros witch don't work properly and the system shuts down so it doesn't damage itself.

In the trunk on the driver side in the back there was a pump. It might be under a cover, on that pump there is he screw you can turn to release the pressure it’s a little bar that unscrews to release the pressure. Once it’s released you will be able to manually put the top up and down.
