Asked by Mar 22, 2017 at 01:14 PM about the 2006 Suzuki Forenza

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

She was driving and her car just slows and shuts
off. When tryin to crank it back up it wouldn't start.
A shop came by and took it to the house For us.
They say its an timing belt. They keep telling me
that the heads are tore up on it. But when i look up
a timing belt it says nothing bout and heads for a
timing belt. Does anyone have a guess of what it is
cause i feel the shop trying to jelp me.

its the timing belt,i had a mechanic think to replace the starter, cranked it and ruined my engine,i couldnt prove it so i ended up paying to have the valves replaced.have them check the timing belt first.
