Denotes emissions system event (if solid); failure (if blinking). CC light is only a convenience warning light linked to the CEL. Get it scanned and then Google the POxxx code. Then buy a cheap scanner ($40) so you can diagnose these CELs in the future, although except for common PO420 (the annoying front cat code) '06 2.5i is pretty straightforward. PO30x indicates a misfire event, either from an ignition cable draped too near metal in humid weather, rarely leading to needing new wires or a coil pack. O2 sensor codes are becoming more common as they age out; also easily replaced. I like the newish orange baby ACTRON scanner that drapes around one's neck nicely while mobile. $40 is a bargain...get one.
