Hi what's your mileage on the car have you ever serviced the transmission if you do change the fluid I'd recommend you using Mobil 1 full synthetic cuz I have a Saturn sc2 and I changed it when I first bought it at like 33,000 miles with a full synthetic then another 20,000 miles down the road I changed it again with full synthetic and it runs a lot smoother was shifting kind of rough but in addition you may have more of a problem than just shifting it could be the solenoids are bad on the transmission I'm not sure but maybe start first with maintenance seeing the transmission with the fluid change and change the filter and put full synthetic in there should help.

another question to add to this thread, I do need to add tranny fluid, what velocity do I need, that's why I came on here. At crappy tire, the guy handed me gear oil 75-90. I think he's on crack. LOL. I'm driving a 99 Saturn S. 4 door standard, with standard steering.
