Noise coming from box in front of battery

Asked by Apr 23, 2018 at 08:37 PM about the 2002 Saturn L-Series

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

After coming out to start my car and
finding my fan running...... was not running
when I shut the car off the night before....
the car started right up but when I turned it
off fan continued to run.... turned out I had
a blown fuse. I replaced the fuse and fan
no longer continues to run but the black
box in front of the battery now continues to
hum and vibrate. I can’t get the box open
or find out what it is. All the other fuses are
fine. Thanks, Dee
