any ideas about a non starting 3.8 v6 engine?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Fuel is OK, spark is OK in all plugs, ignition module is OK and tested with wells tester, the engine cranks and fires up for a second then dies, any clues?

bad fuel pump or throtle position sensor,if ran out of gas turn on key switch find bleader valve on engine push down valve and let air out of system ,will be on fuel rail on engine.

Check out the crank position sensor, pull any applicable codes -- there may be stored failure codes. It could also be something like a head gasket issue causing compression problems, I've seen head gaskets go where you had to basically keep your foot to the floor just to keep the engine alive. Have you used a 'noid light to check the fuel injectors themselves for issues? If you are getting fuel pressure @ the schrader valve that doesn't necessarily mean you're getting good fuel into the engine.

That´s the problem, I´m not getting pulses on any injector, mi first thought is a bad ECU or cam sensor, any other idea?
