My car won't start unless I disconnect the battery and reconnect after a few minutes. any ideas?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Started Yesterday After I Had To Slam My
Brake To Avoid An Accident. The car
immediately stalled. No power at all.
Looked it the manual to see if it had a kill
switch but couldn't find nothing. After
Disconnecting The Battery and
Reconnecting It Started Right up. I had to
do the same thing to start it today.

Sounds like some kind of electrial problem and by cutting all power it's resetting something in your car, similar to circuit breaker. Have you checked to see if you have any bad fuses.

Haven't checked them yet. It all just happened yesterday evening . Going to have to wait til it's light out here. Do you think a bad fuse could cause the whole car to lose power ? Thanks

Check your positive cable going into your fuses and relays under the hood on the firewall make sure they didn't come loose and then check your your your motherboard if you will on the opposite side of your battery on the driver side make sure nothing's loose in there sounds like you're your batteries reset your computer when you disconnect it and then connect it if the motherboard ever been taken out and reinstalled you know you don't know if it's if it was loose and that sudden stop Jarred something loose check all your Connections in your computer
