Hard Starting on my 1991 Mitsubishi Truck 5 speed manual

1)  Sometimes when I start my truck and it misses the first time, I smell gas and it won't start for a little while then I would wait for about 5-10 minutes to start again and will usually start.

my 94 mitsubishi did the same exact thing!! try cleaning your throttle body and check yur mass airflow sensor!!!!

I'm having trouble starting my 88 mithy max p/u with a carburetor have to but fuel in the carburetor once it's start it runs fine but after running it for about 30 mintues and shut it of it will not start
