Question type: Car Selling & Trading In

I want to buy a car that was traded for a truck. The title is signed to him, but the one who traded the truck hasn't had the title notarized. How do I get the title shifted to my name?

Not all titles have to be notarized, depends on the state. Every owner is suppose to have the title transferred in there name first. Sounds like someone is trying to skip title and you can't do that!!!

Work it out at your local DMV office. The guy above is correct but it is done all the time.
