miata died while driving and wont turn on

Asked by Oct 10, 2017 at 12:29 AM about the 1991 Mazda MX-5 Miata

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

i was driving on the freeway and my 91 miata started shaking and then just
died. I had to put it in neutral so i could coast down the exit and pull over
somewhere. I ended up in the middle of the street -.- i tried to jump it but it
wouldnt start, luckily a tow truck picked me up and took it home for me(for
free) (: .  It had a blown valve cover seal so i had put some oil with an oil
treatment with stop leak in it. The pcv valve gromit was also blown. There
was about 1 1/2 qt. oil in the car and i added the oil treatment plus about 1
qt. of oil.
