1991 miata fuel pump electrical connection. Puzzeled.. How do you disconnect the power lfrom the fuel pump? Don't want to pry it off!

Replacing the FP in a 1991 Miata. Thought it would be easy but i  can't disconnect the
power hook up to the fuel pump. What is the secret? I don't want to pry it off.  Thanks

Looks like a tug will detatch the connector from the pump. Heres a video to show how to remove the plug at 2:54. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hy8wzghWowk
