Changing Drive Belt

Asked by Alex May 01, 2017 at 10:28 AM about the 1998 Mazda B-Series

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I recently got a 98 Mazda B 2500 truck and when i started the engine sparks
and smoke started coming out of the A/C Compressor Clutch. I want to get a
smaller drive belt so i can drive the truck around without A/c until i can fix it. Is
there an easy way to figure out the proper size belt i should get?

I don't know, but I would go to the auto parts store and request the belt for a non ac truck. Back in the day that would have been an option
