My battery light is on my dashboard panel an I replaced the battery but its on an its causing other lights to come on

Well how about the fuse that is on the positive battery pole connection..its causing all other warning lights to trigger..an causing the power steering to act up..its seem something is faulting the main battery fuse..it happened call of a sudden..car is running fine other than it seems it want to cut off due to the battery?

Once the alternator stops charging the vehicle is running straight off the battery until it is dead and shuts the engine off.
