I have a 2006 Mazda Tribute. Got an oil change done and now my car won't start.. Does it hurt that when they did the oil change they started the car and kept turning it over while changing the oil

Did they start the car after the oil was removed? If so not sure why someone would do that. If they started the car after the oil was added this is normal, its needs to be started to circulate the oil thru the engine.

the oil was really thin.. And very black. I guess they tried to get most of the oil out to put new oil in? The motor will turn but it's not catching or something.. Am I screwed?! Is there anything you'd recommend?
