I have a 2001 Jimmy and the mechanic told me that my I think pinions were uploading to my differential or Were Somehow the pinions are uploading or unloading. My question is how dangerous is this driv

If they load while you trying to make a turn it can force you to go straight if the road is even a slightly bit wet, but After the limited slip was redesigned I no longer see this happen but there is a chance even if very small. Now if he is talking about the pinions over running then that can cause a differential to detonate the gears internally and that can be dangerous.
