I have nearly the same vehicle. Several items to check. Each fuel tank has it's own individual sending unit with a low pressure fuel pump. If you find the tank sending unit has failed, remember the 1990 Ford Econoline uses a "Magnetic Sending Unit" not the "Bi- Metal" as most vehicles. The Bi-Metal will not work with the dash fuel gauge. Most autoparts stores don't know about this. Stay away from O'Rilleys as they will sell you the wrong unit claiming it the right one and then won't accept the return of the part once they sell it to you. $175.00 rip off. These low pressure pumps feed fuel to a high pressure pump on the frame on the driver's side. Another possibility is a failed fuel selector valve which controlled by your tank selector switch. I highly recommend you get the "1990 Ford Econoline, F-Series, Bronco Truck Shop Manual" before buying parts. This manual is most valuable and can be easily found on Amazon and Ebay in a CD version. Printed book versions are very rare to find. Good luck
