Possible bad EGR valve, may be plugged or the diafram may be bad, also check for vacuum leaks.

Check everything! approach this as tune up 26 years old! Ignition timing, check wires resistance, inspect distributor, cap, rotor... attach a vacuum gauge to the intake read direct vacuum high and stead is right 17-22inHG

It's got new wires plugs an cap checked vacuum seems to be OK thought it was fuel regulator case when pull vacuum line off I could drive it a little bit but it still didn't have all of its power

Do the self test on the computer system ,only a couple remaining signals that can cause sluggish or slow response ,1990 1. TPS (Throttle Position Sensor) code 23. 2. MAP sensor (Manifold Absolute Pressure) 3. TFI Thick Film ignition The EEC unit its self is suspect to me at this age or IF the CHECK engine light doesn't LIGHT.... before starting. CHECK FOR CODES JUMP THE TEST PORT AND LET SOMEONE COUNT THE FLASHING CHECK ENGINE LIGHT, read details online to take it in for service.

Check a video in YouTube about diagnosing the power switch. The power switch needed to be replaced because its movement caused the system to understand that the key was turning the car off for seconds. I found it under EE250 stalls fixing.
