Question type: Maintenance & Repair

When first start it my truck will idle just as it
is sapost to when cold. As soon as you
step on the gas pedal it idles at 2000/2500.
When it worms up it will idle 1000/700. Now
has just started to sometimes die When
stopped. I have replaced all the senses on
the motor. Except for egr and map oxen
senser.  I run grate going down the road. I
get around 14 miles to the gallon.

Did you replace the IAC (idle air conrtol)?

Best Answer Mark helpful

Yes and the tps and the temp and air temp. When I first replaced them it idle good for about 3 weeks. The reason I changed them is it was not idling right when I bought it. I have only had it for 2 months.

It is genuine ford. Hay could the EGR be doing this. Or could the oxygen senser. The exhaust pipe was broken there when I bought it. And have wondered if it might have done something to it.
