how to remove rubber tube between filler tube and gas tank
have a slow filling gas tank that kicks off the pump and even fills to the top when using a gas can and then overflows. possible someone put something in the filler tube on purpose or while trying to steal gas.. need to remove the rubber hose.. i can take the clamp off the filler tube end but cannot seem to push it far enough back to take it off.

take it loose from the body also at the top.
what do you mean by also at the top.. do you mean to unbolt the metal part of the filler tube from the side of the van or from the gas tank end?
Unbolt it from the van at the top of the filler neck. Alot of the time its too tight to get off without doin that.
is it possible that this model has the anti siphon ball it it and that it may be stuck and that is why gas is slow to fill
Very well could have a check valve of some sort probably for if it rolled over fuel wouldnt leak out. And yes it could have got stuck somehow or another
ok got the filler tube off and ran a cable from the cap to the end and there was no obstruction.. then ran the wire into the rubber hose still connected to the tank and seemed like there may have been some kind of obstruction but i did get the cable far enough to be inside the tank. of course i cannot see into it.
