first do you have 12 Volts at the battery? if yes then it could be the starter relay or the starter

yes 12 volts at battery when I first tried to start truck ignition switch would not turn I then sprayed penetrating oil into siwct and let sit over night now switch turns but nothing happens, no sound, click nothing, lights on dash mildly dim when I turn ignition switch. Battery warning light in dash stays on when I turn switch, figure that would go out only once motor is running.
