fuel & glow plugs then. check your fuel pump and injectors. the injectors could be clogged. one thing that i would try is take a propane tank with a blowtorch nozzle and spray a stream into the air box and see if it will run (I haven't tried this before on a diesel). If it does don't take the propane away right away, let it run for a bit, then pull the propane away. If it dies then you have fuel system problems. Joseph.

JUST WENT THROUGH THIS WITH MY 99 F350.PUT A NEW RELAY SWITCH IN,THEN IT WOULD BLOW THE FUSE.TOWED IT TO MECHANIC PUT IT ON SCOPE NOTHING CAME UP SO HE TOOK OUT NEW RELAY SWITCH PUT FUSE IN REPLACED RELAY SWITCH NO MORE PROBLEMS STARTS FINE.

try replaceing the cold start sensor,i think that is what it is called,it is what ignites the fuel to start engine.
