2004 Ford F-250 cluster stopped working now won’t run

My instrument panel stopped working but was still
illuminated, then while driving the truck seemed to lose all
power and would not accelerate properly eventually dying
and not starting. Let it sit for a while then it started again
but then did the same thing. Can anyone please help

sounds like a limp mode , scan for codes and take care of it , get the code definition if you have more questions
