You could go to a car parts store, have the codes read and they can cancel out the codes and turn of warning lights. This does not fix the problem and soon the lights will return. Go to a mechanic and the lights will extinguish permanently..... There are shady car sellers that get lights turned off to defraud a buyer. But a few miles after a sale, the lights come back on and the buyer wants his money back. sometimes, this leads to a seller losing a lot of money through court action, and sometimes he loses more through the police.
