Why wont my car battery stay charged and why does it idle high

My car wont stay charged after
getting jumped off and it idles high
what could it be

Battery is DONE over 60 months old? or Alternator is worn out (possibly cables or wires) have it checked with a multimeter 13.2- 14.8 volts output from alternator to battery terminals when vehicle is running
