alternator/ voltage regulator?

while driving the lights can shut off and the speedometer, gas gage , tachometer and everything will drop to zero and the engine will shut off. This happens more when it rains.

Check your wires from the alternator to the fuse box, battery to the fuse box and make sure they are clean and tight.
