Fuel pressure

What are any of you guys know why I don't get 40
PSI to my engine right now I get about 26 change
fuel pump that was located in the gas tank is there
anything else I need to change

@F_O_R I burn on three different sites and they've all told me that still filter is in with the fuel pump are they wrong and if so where would it be do you know


That is true and if it is dirty you will probably see reduced fuel pressure. Is the gas tank dirty? http://www.fixya.com/cars/t5300576-fuel_filter_located_1994_dodge


Did you replace just the pump motor or the whole assembly? If my online parts book is correct, the filter/regulator sits on top of the fuel pump assembly and can be replaced by itself. I have seen times when my parts book was not correct, it happens.

Oilyspill replace whole assembly. Only thing I kept from old pump assembly is the sticker say 94dodge ram 40 psi only
