1996 dodge 1500 4x4 5.2 overdrive down shifting problem

My 96 dodge shifts fine until it goes to
overdrive.will no shift unless I let off the gas a little
then it shifts into overdrive.say at 55 mph you hit
the slightest grade and you accelerate just a little
then it shifts down to what seems like passing
gear them you have to let off the gas to get it to go
back to overdrive.could it be the solenoids.fluod is
clear and don't smell burnt.
