Left in my truck today and it will not shift out of
first gear nomatter how high you run the rpm uo

It could be that your transmission fluid is just low. Check fluid level. If fluid is OK, it's probably a faulty transmission control solenoid or speed sensor, and you should have this diagnosed by a trans pro.
