Fuel pump delivers fuel to the injectors. Sequential multipoint fuel injection (SMPI) delivers fuel to each cylinder through its own injector for immediate throttle response. The 360 in the SS/T trucks has a progressive bore throttle body which helps to increase airflow for more horsepower.
