suspect a corroded MAIN ground connection from the battery to the chassis ground has gone "brown power" from repeated 300 or more amps thru this connection creating a "semi-conductor" layer providing NOT solid amps and volts to the relay buss...so the ignition relay kicks out leavin' you stranded....remedy, break out the coarse wirebrush undo that one bolt and wirebrush the electrical connections until SOLID grounding is achieved....also batteries only will go five years as they will stop accepting a charge cookin' the alternator~ so get a NEW one~
