Question type: Maintenance & Repair

So I have a 1998 1500 dodge ram 5.9 4wd and
when I'm driving and come to a red light the truck
goes into a hight idle and the rpm's be very hi now
I just change the break booster and it was leaking
break fluid into the booster not sure if thats it or I
don't know what to do and I'm freaking out I try to
put it in neutral the rpm's still stay hi then I'll just
cut the truck off not sure what to do

you might consider changing all rubber stuff that is oily and weathered~ 98 is a spell away~ might be seasonal~ time for some maintenance~ it is like really dangerous to mess around with the booster, works ok one minute and faulty the next~ get new stuff put in~ would be my advise~ these are rugged creations and need respect as well, don't showoff and stuff just cause it's RAM Tough~

So what about the high rpm when stirring at a red light
